Good Report!

Psalms 23:1-3
YHWH is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul: He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake.

My last trip to the South was very edifying.
I went with Jesse McDaniel to the Porras farm in Duruy, a small town in the skirts of the mountains.
We crossed bamboo, banana, and tree farms.
We also crossed some rivers along the way since our GPS turned us the long way.
We went through valleys of amazing beauty and felt like asking; are we there yet?
Praise Yah the road was dry enough to get there!
We were hosted by evangelist Marvin Porras and his family.
We were treated like royalty from the moment we got there.
Their humble living is part of a greater plan to learn more on
how to live from the land and become self sustainable.
Just as the children of Israel walking out of Egypt to meet with
the inhabitants of Sukkoth to learn how to live in the desert.

We watched the Porras milk the cows in the early morning,
watched the chicks hatch under the hens, picked fruits and vegetables from the ground,
and cut wood from the trees in the property to build homes were some of the things we learned on this trip.
We took cold showers and energizing baths in the river. We also rode horses up the hills and muddy trails. There is much respect gained for the family and employees for their hard work.
We helped them carry wood out of the farthest parts of the farm and we found out that we were
so out of shape that even a 15 year old could carry more wood faster than what we could.
Our legs were swollen and our shoulders were sore. We realized that we have been lying to ourselves of what it is to really be in shape.

We ate from the farm. We had amazing malanga, a root vegetable that grows wild.
Dona Vicki served it fried and added it to the the chicken soup
We also had some jocotes, water apples, and some coconut water and flesh.
She also made us some pineapple juice that made us ask for more!
We also ate plantains, guavas, guayabas, super sweet cuadrados,
and not to forget the gallo pinto, the fried cheese and fresh made white cheese.
The more we live here the more recipes we add to our list. Thank you YHWH for our bread daily.

We looked for ministry opportunities in the town as we got in.
If we judge according to the look of the houses there is much need physically and if we
judge according to the way people smoke and drink we can see the need spiritually.
I spoke to a man in his 60's who was completely drunk but according to what he shared
to us he knew that he was running away from God. He wanted someone to tell him the truth.
Well that is what I do!

The next time we drove through he was sober. And guess what? The second and third time as well.
Mr. and Mrs. Porras sat down with me and we spoke about Scripture
and current prophetic events to which they said,
"Brother Jesus, why we do not know these things?"
They were encouraged and lifted up by the Word and the renewing of their minds.
Mr. Marvin even said that it was very important for him to partake
of the bread and wine with us on Shabbat and that he was looking forward
to the day he could be together with our families keeping Shabbat.

We had a question for him since he has been a farmer all his life.
The Torah says we should rest our cattle on Shabbat and we did not know if our idea could work.
We asked him if on Shabbat we could let the calves loose with the
milking cows so we did not have to milk the cows on that set-apart day.
He said that if we had enough cows we could very well do that.
Amazing that we can learn from someone who has been doing farm work all his life
and about things we think about but never know how we could do it.

Deuteronomy 30:1-3, 8-9
And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee,
the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee,
and you shall call them to mind among all the nations,
whether YHWH your Elohim has driven thee,

2 And shall return to YHWH your Elohim,
and shall obey His voice according to all that I command you this day,
you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul;

3 That then YHWH your Elohim will turn your captivity,
and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations,
whether YHWH your Elohim has scattered you.

8 And you shall return and obey the voice of YHWH,
and do all His commandments which I command you this day.

9 And YHWH will make you plenteous in every work of your hand,
in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your land, for good:
for YHWH will again rejoice over you for good, as He rejoiced over your fathers.

We met a young man named Brian (15). He has to work to support his family.
I have seen him clearing pasture with a machete and carrying big planks of wood from the mountain.
I got news that he wants a pair of Tzitzits. I guess the morning Shofar blow touched their hearts.
We visited a family with a humble home at a corner of the town.
They have no toilet and their water looked kind of cloudy.
They have 3 young daughters. I am looking forward to go back there and minister more.
Pray that YHWH will provide so we can help and minister to others. Shalom!

Yahshua is coming soon!

Matthew 24:6-8

And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that you be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Well family in Messiah, it's becoming time. How do I know that it's almost time? Well, yesterday I felt proof. And not weak proof. Real proof.

Yep, we had an earthquake, and not a small one either. We had a 6.0 earthquake.
A 6.0 EARTHQUAKE!!
I praise YHVH that we are safe, but I realized yesterday that He is serious. He is ready to come take His
children home. I am ready! Are you? Blessings!

Shalom!

UPDATE on Dona Nasilda and Gustavo

Bendito sea YHWH! Gustavo showed up Shabbat morning with his bible. He said, since you came here I learned the Name of God and the real commandments. His bible translates our Creators Name as Yave and has the full aprocrypha. He says his dad critizises the Catholic Church traditions but the pressures of the community over them is over them. There is no place for them to go here since very few people are willing to reach out.
Kids helping the adults make cement. If you can see on the far right how bad it looks. It looks worse on the other side.

Nice looking walkway, isn't it?:')
On Dona Nasilda we praise Yah He sent us help and a donation of sand so we repaired the path that goes from the gate to her house. You can see that it was in bad shape with holes and rocks. She was soo happy and told all her family that some people that really lived loving one another blessed her.
Pray for both families. YHWH's commandments are perfect converting the soul, turning us back to obedience in love with our Creator. Pure Life is to live according to YHWH's instructions. We hope that we can continue to plant seeds that will transform lives and make people think and search for themselves.
We are told we will have more work soon translating a website and we will start working with the Sukkot Childrens Ministry Curriculum. We have 4 visits and a trip to make in the next 2 weeks. Please pray for our provision and safety. Shalom!

Yahshua provides for us, so we can provide for others UPDATE

 Psalms 23

YHVH is my shepherd; I do not lack.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.
He turns back my being; He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Nameʼs sake.
When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You spread before me a table in the face of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Only goodness and kindness follow me All the days of my life; And I shall dwell in the House of YHVH, To the length of days!

YHVH truly blesses us, doesn't he? He always provides for our needs! But YHVH has given us a responsibility. James 1:27 says, " Clean and undefiled religion before the Elohim and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
Praise YHVH that He has blessed our family so we could help this elderly widow. Her name is Doña Nacilda. She lives by herself in this old wooden house with a old tin roof. We were really touched one day by her singing. We decided to look and see what needed to be done.
We realized that her fence needed some fixing, as well as the walkway to her house and a pole so they can switch the electric pole from the old pole, which is falling down. And because you came out and supported us, we were able to help her. Thank you so much for all your support!
As you can see, by your provision, she has a nice gate, an electric pole that will last for a while, and will soon have a nice walkway to her house, which I will put pictures on once it is done. Thank you so much!

If you want to help, please go to torah4ca.weebly.com for information how. May YHVH bless you and keep you! Shalom!
