The land of Brotherly Love! Part 4 of ? Week 3

Heb 13:1
Let brotherly love(Philadelphia) continue.

Shalom brothers and sisters in Messiah!
Praying that you all had a blessed and peaceful Shabbat.
We got back to the farm this week but I wanted to finish
showing you some of the things we did and saw in Filadelfia.
Sooo... here we go!
_________________________________________________________________________

Songs of Solomon 2:11-12
“For look, the winter is past, the rain is over, gone.
12  “The flowers have appeared in the earth; The time of singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.

YHVH's beauty is amazing! He made some incredible things, didn't he?
From the trees that give fruit, to the flower bushes, His beauty is EVERYWHERE! HalleluYAH!!
________________________________________________________________________

While we were there, we taught them how to make a few recipes, cooked and raw.
But by far everyone's favorite thing was....

MUFFINS!! We made muffins 4 times on the trip.
Everyone loved them and Briana had enough
left over so she could take some to school everyday. Yum!!
 _________________________________________________________________________

Then it was time for Shabbat. My mom is a good bread maker,
but she doesn't make Challah when we are at the farm
(Mrs. Suzanne McDaniel does it most of the time).
So she doesn't have a ton of practice braiding the challah just right.
But finally the 3rd time she made a challah that she would let me take a picture of(☺).

 John 6:35,47-48
 And Yahshua said to them,
“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall not get hungry at all,
and he who believes in Me shall not get thirsty at all.
47  “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me possesses everlasting life.
48  “I am the bread of life.

Spending Shabbat together. And we had a visitor once again.

Psalms 133:1
See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity...

The next day for lunch Mrs. Ramirez made...
SOUP!! It was cooked on the fire so it made it even better tasting.

After that, my parents and the Ramirez's went out to go look for a car.
They have one but it isn't very big and they needed another one...
This van was "interesting". This "big" old van that can fit a bunch of people,
with tires that are, well... not very big... Haha!!
By the time bro Ramirez came with the sales person dad had this Chevy Sold to Mrs. Ramirez!
But we had to "switch" to a less expensive Hyundai.
She liked this one a lot, but, well,
let's say it was a "wee bit" too far out of their price range,
like I don't know, DOUBLE the price!!
Sooo... this car is still for sale... .
________________________________________________________________________

There was one other thing we did in this 3rd week we were there.
We played...

PINGPONG!! Yep on the dinning room table with candles as the middle.
My dad, Briana, and I were the ones that played most of the time but by the end of our trip Christopher, Briana's oldest brother Alfredo, and one of his friends got into the act.
It was a lot of fun!

Well, another week had past and we only had a couple more days to go.
But these last few days were really good.
That though will be the next blogpost.

Until then...

Shalom!

The land of Brotherly Love! Part 3 of ? A trip to the Beach

Heb 13:1
Let brotherly love(Philadelphia) continue.

Shalom brothers and sisters in Messiah!
I know it's winter in the states, but it's very warm here.
Soooo.... we went to the beach!
Here are some pictures from the Playa Ocotal!
___________________________________________________________________________________
 Genesis 1:9-10
  And Elohim said,
“Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place,
and let the dry land appear.” And it came to be so.
10 And Elohim called the dry land ‘earth,’
and the collection of the waters He called ‘seas.’
And Elohim saw that it was good.

Walking to find the best spot... This sand is very interesting.  It's tan on one side and black on the other.
Briana's ready to play soccer! It was really windy so the ball went EVERYWHERE!
As soon as we got there, we decide to have a little fun with Briana...

She was there for 20 minutes. It was funny...

Reach!!!(She got it eventually...)

Psalms 119:133-135
Establish my footsteps by Your word, And let no wickedness have rule over me.
134 Redeem me from the oppression of man, That I might guard Your orders.
135 Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your laws.

My beautiful parents! Yo te amo!
This picture is so amazing!
Psalms 136:1,9
Give thanks to YHVH, for He is good! For His kindness is everlasting.
9 The moon and stars to rule by night, For His kindness is everlasting.
There are over 25 boats just in the one part that we were at.
And to end...
Pretty good way to end... THE END!!
Shalom!

The land of Brotherly Love! Part 2 of ? Week 2 Part 1 of 2

Heb 13:1
Let brotherly love(Philadelphia) continue.

Shalom brothers and sisters in Messiah! Praying you are having
a blessed time wherever you are around the world.
Here are some more pictures from our trip to Filadelfia!

Brianna making muffins. She REALLY likes them!
We took a trip to town to buy groceries for the week.
Had a very good time and helped Mrs. Ramirez and my mom buy them.

Here are some pics of the trip:

I find this very interesting. There are 3 of these "rapture" signs within 4 miles of one another!
It seems that this was a VERY big deal... 9 months ago...
The farmers market in Liberia. A LOT of selection here! It goes for over 2 blocks!
I bought them some ice cream. They were very happy, as you can see.

Then, it was time to get ready for Shabbat...
My mom making Challah(it was very YUMMY!) She is such a good Challah baker when we go out. When we are at the farm Mrs. Suzanne normally makes it.
Bringing in Shabbat...

Matthew 5:14-16
"You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain.
15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket,
but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works
and praise your Father who is in the heavens."

Our dinner! Pastelon(Meat, Plantains, and Beans) with Rice. VERY yummy!

Studying the Torah Portion together...

This little guy came for a visit too...
One of the many iguanas eating a caimieto, a tropical fruit. For more info on it CLICK HERE.

The next day we went to the river again. Had a good time but didn't get any fish :'(...
Another picture of the river. It LOOKS peaceful, but there are "crocs" in there.
Haven't seen any though...

♫♪♪Home, home on the RANGE!!!♪♪♫

I LOVE YHVH'S BEAUTIFUL CREATION!!!

And it's amazing abundance of nourishing food!
Isaiah 55:10-13
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from the heavens, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, and give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11  So is My Word that goes forth from My mouth – it does not return to Me empty,
but shall do what I please, and shall certainly accomplish what I sent it for.
12  For with joy you go out, and with peace you are brought in – the mountains and the hills
break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field clap the hands.
13  Instead of the thorn the cypress comes up, and instead of the nettle the myrtle comes up.
And it shall be to YHVH for a name, for an everlasting sign which is not cut off.”

HalleluYAH!!

More pics later...

The land of Brotherly Love! Part 1 of ? Week 1

Heb 13:1
Let brotherly love(Philadelphia) continue.

Shalom brothers and sisters in Messiah!
Forgive me for not blogging in a while but I am going to try to do better.
Anyway, on to what we have been doing!

We have left our little house in the forest and have gone for a little trip to the land of brotherly love, Filadelfia(Spanish for Philadelphia). We are staying with the Ramirez family.
They have blessed us so much by letting us stay at their home. We have been sharing a lot of our experiences with them and have been talking about what we have learned the past 3 years. We have been blessed by them as much as they have been by us being here.

On to the pictures!
___________________________________________________________________________________

My wonderful mother and her beloved sister Lorena making bread(YUMMY!) Maybe sisterly love fits better! I just also saw the bread and seems to fit "sisters of the bread", Yahshua the "Bread of Life", get it? It was also Challah 101. Toda sister Moira your ministry has reached Costa Rica. HalleluYAH!
Proverbs 31:10-12, 28-31
Who does find a capable wife? For she is worth far more than rubies.
11  The heart of her husband shall trust her, And he has no lack of gain.
12  She shall do him good, and not evil, All the days of her life.
28  Her children shall rise up and call her blessed; Her husband too, and he praises her:
29  “Many daughters have done nobly, But you have risen over them all.”
30  Loveliness is deceptive And prettiness is vain, A woman who fears YHVH is to be praised.
31  Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her works praise her in the gates.

The Shabbat Table

Getting ready to start Shabbat with the Ramirez's and Lorena's brother.
Now for my 2nd favorite part about Shabbat
(besides reading Torah and resting),
DINNER and DESSERT!
White sauce Lasagna with chicken
Lemon Moose(SUPER YUMMY!)
Shabbat Breakfast: Watermelon, bread with Jelly and Cream Cheese, and Banana-Pineapple muffins.
YUMMY!!

Getting ready for the Torah Portion, the spiritual food.

My beautiful mother!!! Love you Mommy! She is ALWAYS happy, even when she doesn't look like it...
___________________________________________________________________________________

The next day we went to the Tempisque river.
It was a beautiful day outside so we went fishing and spent time see all of YHVH's creation!

Psalms 98:8
Let the rivers clap their hands, Let the mountains sing together for joy before YHVH...

We are glad that there were no Crocs! This river has a history of crocodiles but there weren't any, but there are quite a few birds by the river...

Fish for "dinner"... ok maybe not.
We have tried twice for 10 hrs combined and have caught 3 little fish like this.
I think the fish are smarter than us... LOL

This is one of the best pics of Shalom. YHVH's creation is unbelievable!

Talking Scripture with my dad.
Young men and women,
if you want to learn how to live your life,
go to your parents to find the example.
They may not be perfect, but if they try to live and walk like Yahshua,
then you will find the answer to your situation.

Have more pictures to put on soon! But for now...

SHALOM!
