Through the Feasts Part 3 of 3- A Great Blessing!

The last fall feast of the year is Sukkot. It can be found in Leviticus 23:33-44:

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Lev 23:34 "Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths for seven days to YHVH.
Lev 23:35 ‘On the first day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.
Lev 23:36 ‘For seven days you bring an offering made by fire to YHVH. On the eighth day there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an offering made by fire to YHVH.
It is a closing festival, you do no servile work.
Lev 23:37 ‘These are the appointed times of YHVH which you proclaim as set-apart gatherings, to bring an offering made by fire to YHVH, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a slaughtering and drink offerings, as commanded for every day –
Lev 23:38 besides the Sabbaths of YHVH, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your voluntary offerings which you give to YHVH.
Lev 23:39 ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you gather in the
fruit of the land, observe the festival of YHVH for seven days.
On the first day is a rest, and on the eighth day a rest.
Lev 23:40 ‘And you shall take for yourselves on the first day the fruit of good trees, branches of palm trees, twigs of leafy trees, and willows of the stream, and shall rejoice before
Lev 23:41 ‘And you shall observe it as a festival to YHVH for seven days in the year-
a law forever in your generations. Observe it in the seventh month.
Lev 23:42 ‘Dwell in booths for seven days; all who are native Yisra’ĕlites dwell in booths,
Lev 23:43 so that your generations know that I made the children of Yisra’ĕl dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim. I am YHVH your Elohim.’ "

It is the feast in which Yahshua, our Messiah, was born.

John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and pitched His tent(Tabernacled) among us,
and we saw His esteem,
esteem as of an only brought forth of the Father, complete in favour and truth.

It is also the wedding feast, where we are married with our bridegroom, Yahshua. HalleluYAH!

This Sukkot we went to Heredia, about 45 minutes of San Jose. We helped do the children's program and cooking. It was a great blessing for us and for the kids because it was the first time in a while that they were able to do something like what we did. Here are some pics:

We had been praying to know a family in Panama to visit for when we did our border runs. Praise YHVH and what a surprise to find such a wonderful family at Sukkot. Betsy and I made an immeadiate conection and Christopher and Kevin had a great time together as well. We are so excited and looking forward to being able to visit them on our next trip to Panama.

Shalom!
