John 8:31-32
So Yahshua said to those Yehuḏim who believed Him,
“If you stay in My Word, you are truly My taught ones,
32 and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Praise YAH that He has shown us the REAL truth! About 4 years ago, we found this REAL truth.
It began when we were invited to go to Sukkot(Feast of Tabernacles) in Texas.
We were still 'Christians' at the time, so we just thought it would be a nice vacation.
But we were really wrong. When we got there and began talking to the people there,
we realized that there was something different(a lot different!) in what they were saying.
We were amazed in what they were saying and doing(like Shabbat, the Names, the feasts, etc.),
but we weren't convinced that they were right. In fact, when we came back from TX, my dad went into his Bible and his computer and wanted to show that they were wrong. Well, guess what happened??

Once we found out the truth we realized that we could no longer stay where we were in Florida,
and so we packed up our van, left Florida, and well, the rest is history!
But what was the truth that we found? Well, a lot of REALLY important things!
To begin, we found out that Shabbat(Fri.Night to Sat.Night) was the real set-apart day.
Then we found out that the feasts the 'Christians' celebrate(christmas, easter, etc.)
weren't the feasts that God wanted us to celebrate. Rather, He had His own feasts
that He wanted us to celebrate, and they were in the Bible! What is funny is that there
was a family in Florida that had invited us for Passover twice even while we were still in the church!
We also found out that Jesus wasn't really the Messiah's name, but rather Yahshua/Yeshua,
and that God's name was YHVH. And we could keep going on and on
about the exciting things that we learned about in those 1st 3 months!
However, we also found out some truths that were hard to swallow.
We realized through studying that there were a LOT of things that we and just
about all our family and friends did that were wrong. And not just wrong,
but against YHVH and even an abomination to Him. We found out that what we
did in the 'Church' was very much against YHVH. We almost cried when our eyes
where opened to the truth that we were teaching things that were against what YHVH wants.
We have been too long in the 'Sun'...
