Living in Costa Rica, there are a lot of things that we have learned about how to
self-sustain us in this Earth, and we through YHVH's hand
have been able to show others the Truth that sustains forever.
One of the biggest things that we have seen though is just how little outside information
they get about what's happening around the world. They are being taught only by the pastors
in the pulpits and the teachers in the classrooms(and at least where we live only up to 6th-8th grade),
and everything else they either learn themselves, or it is either non-existent or of little value.
There is hardly any other side to debate what they have been taught. There is a lack of information
about many topics, whether it be Creation Science, eating 'Kosher', the end times, etc.
However, we are finally beginning to see more information like this,
and in fact our family has been able to help.
Matthew 5:14-16
“You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain.
15 “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket,
but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house.
16 “Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your
good works and praise your Father who is in the heavens.
My dad started translating several years ago and has been helping different ministries get articles,
videos, and teachings in Spanish. He has been able to share with others here in Costa Rica
and throughout the Hispanic community through these, as well as in Facebook,
which is actually the best way to get the word out to people here in these types
of areas because almost everyone here has Facebook on their phones.
One of the big things that YHVH has allowed me to do over the past several months
is to write and translate articles for a website called The Creation Club,
which is a site full of information about Creation Science, something of which is very
much needed in this world were people are taught that we came from a primordial soup
14+ Billion years ago and that we came from monkeys. People here do not have the information
to defend against it, because frankly there is so very little done about it. That is why we need
to help these ministries that do have this information be able to reach people that don't.
Is it easy? No, definitely not. With the farm work that has to be done(plus cooking, my #3 occupation),
it limits the time that there is for me to help. But with YHVH's help I want to be able to do more.
There is a need, and there is a way to fill it, we need help. I personally have some ideas
that I believe will help be able to reach out. A couple of them are:
1. Outreach through social media outlets like Facebook. Things like short written teachings
and images are really good, easy ways to be able to share with them.
2. DVD and audio teachings. A lot of people here have TV's and DVD/CD players,
as well as you can put audio teachings on their phones. They learn a lot more(and I do to)
when they can actually see and/or hear what is being taught. Which brings me to the third idea...
3. Podcasts and Youtube! For those that have computers this would be a great way to share.
Many ministries have great videos, and some are translated into Spanish, but very few are
made specifically for the Hispanic people. Many of the videos are American or English-based,
but there are very few that give the Hispanic/Latino mindset. There is a lot of great information
out there that can be shared, but it needs to be in a way that they can understand.
Now, obviously there are things that would be needed to be able to do these things.
Materials like DVD's/CD's disks, printer ink, etc. would be needed. And to do a podcast
that is longer than an hour or a video that is more than 15 minutes could take some
additional resources, like a hosting website for example. There is a lot that can be done, but it takes time and finances.
Acts 13:47
“For so the Master has commanded us, ‘I have set you to be a light to the gentiles(nations),
that you should be for deliverance to the ends of the earth.”
But most of all, prayers will be needed. This would take a lot of commitment to do.
We know that with Messiah all things are possible, but we know we have to do our part to
bring the Word of Truth out to the Hispanic/Latino community. So please pray for our servant family,
that we can continue to shine our light, and that we can bring this information
that is so important to these people that so desperately need it.
Until next time...
Shalom!
