We have Ushpizin(Visitors!)! Part 2 of 2

Shalom brothers and sisters in Messiah! I pray that you are all doing well
and that you can be used by YHVH for His Glory!

Here we have been VERY blessed especially of late. YHVH has allowed us in the past
2 weeks to have several families come up to visit us. We have been able to share the Word with them.
Pray that it makes an impact in their lives and that we can continue to share YHVH with others!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have been very blessed to have a large family from down in town come up to visit us.
We have been sharing the Word with them and they seem to be very receptive to it. This family has
come out of a lot of bad situations so once again please pray that they can fully come out
of that and be able to fully embrace the Whole Word of YHVH!

Now, on to the pictures!
Use4Use1
Isaiah 9:2-3
The people who were walking in darkness have seen a great light;
upon those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death a light has shone.
3 You shall increase the nation; You shall make its joy great. They shall rejoice before You,
as in the joy of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

Sharing the harvest and giving out the bread, physically AND spiritually too!

Use2

 Use5 Use3
Please pray for this young lady named Dinia. She has a very sweet heart but she has been in
some very tough situations in her life and has only recently been freed some that, part of which
you will see in this blogpost. She has 2 young children so please pray that they
will be able to grow up in a home where YHVH is first and that none of the
dangers of life can come and try to take them away from HIM.

Use6 Use8
Psalms 133:1
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Use7
Psalms 98:6-9
With trumpets and the sound of a horn; Raise a shout before YHVH, the Sovereign.
7 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it, The world and those who dwell in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands, Let the mountains sing together for joy before YHVH,
9 For He shall come to judge the earth. He judges the world in righteousness, And the people in straightness.

The shofar has been a great teaching tool to use, especially with larger groups and
where youth and children are involved. We share how the shofar was used in times of war
as well as in times of calling the people to repentance. And almost every time
a group comes up, they all will try to blow the shofar, and it’s great to
see them laugh and smile when they see how hard it is to blow!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Use9
Now here comes an interesting and what would become exciting story.
We were talking about some things in the Scriptures when one of the young ladies
named Angie that came told my dad that she had wanted to be baptized before
and that she had gone to ask the pastor at the church in El Duruy. Here comes the crazy part though.
The pastor told the Angie that to be baptized she must stop dressing so immodestly
as well as stop playing soccer, and if she did that she could be baptized. Well, as you
could figure out that surprised her a little bit, and once she told us, we told her right
away that there is no place in Scripture that talks about that. In fact, there is no requirement
to be baptized other than to believe with all your heart that Yahshua is the Messiah. We shared
with them the story of Philip and the Kushite(Ethiopian) eunuch and how
He was baptized almost immediately after He accepted Messiah. We told them what it
meant to be baptized and then we asked who wanted to be baptized. Angie and
then Dinia both said they wanted to be baptized!

Here are some pictures!

Use11 Use12
Acts 8:27-31
And he arose and went, and saw, a man of Kush, a eunuch of great authority
under Kandake the sovereigness of the Kushites, who was in charge
of all her treasury, and had come to Yerushalayim to worship,
28 and was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Yeshayahu.
29 And the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and join him in that chariot.”
30 And running up, Philip heard him reading the prophet Yeshayahu,
and said, “Do you know what you are reading?”
31 And he said, “How am I able, unless someone guides me?”
And he called Philip near, to come up and sit with him.

Use13 Use14
Acts 8:32-35
32 And the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this,
“He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and like a lamb silent before
its shearer, so He opened not His mouth.
33 “In His humiliation He was deprived of right-ruling.
And who shall declare His generation? Because His life was taken from the earth.”
34 And the eunuch, answering Philip, said, “I ask you, about whom
does the prophet say this, about himself or about some other?”
35 And Philip opening his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, brought to him the Good News: Yahshua!

Use15 Use12
Acts 8:36-39
36 And as they were going on the way, they came to some water.
And the eunuch said, “Look, water! What hinders me from being immersed?”
37 And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, it is permitted.”
And he answering, said, “I believe that Yahshua Messiah is the Son of Elohim.”
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip
and the eunuch went down into the water, and he immersed him.
39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of YHVH caught Philip away,
and the eunuch saw him no more, for he went his way, rejoicing.

Use17 Use18
Yahshua's last instruction on earth was to baptize and make disciples in all the nations:

Matthew 28:18-20
And Yahshua came up and spoke to them, saying,
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 “Therefore, go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them
in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit,
20 teaching them to guard all that I have commanded you.
And see, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Amĕn.

Use21
Please pray for these 2 women, Angie and Dinia. Pray that they continue to learn about
Yah’s Word and that they can learn how to be a bride of Messiah and stay away
from the evils of this world. Sister Tammy has been very busy making several skirts
for them and then trading their very immodest clothes for beautiful coverings.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now it’s time to celebrate! Yahshua said in Luke 15:

Luke 15:10
“I say to you, in the same way there is joy in the presence of
the messengers of Elohim over one sinner repenting.”
Use22 Use23
HalleluYAH!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Y LAST PIC
Once again, please pray for this family. They need to hear more about YHVH’s Word
so that they do not go astray again. They have come a long way and are continuing
their walk back to the REAL truth of YHVH’s Word. Pray that we will be able to
continue to minister to them and that they can truly become followers of Messiah.
They have physical needs but more importantly they have spiritual needs and we
desire to be able to show them as much as we know with the knowledge and time that we have.

And finally, please continue praying for us. Times are getting darker but that is when
the light shines even brighter. We lack nothing(Praise YHVH!) but we want to be able
to help with the needs of others, both physically and spiritually. We thank you all for
all that you are doing and all you are going to do, and may YHVH
bless you and multiply His blessings on you!

Numbers 6:24-26
“YHVH bless you and guard you;
25 YHVH make His face shine upon you, and show favor to you;
26 YHVH lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.”

Until next time…

Shalom!

We have Ushpizin(Visitors!)! Part 1 of 2

Shalom brothers and sisters in Messiah Yahshua!
I pray that you are all doing well and that YHVH will use you for His Glory!

Here we have been VERY blessed especially of late. YHVH has allowed us
in the past 2 weeks to have several families come up to visit us.
We have been able to share the Word with them. Pray that it makes an impact
in their lives and that we can continue to share YHVH with others!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We were very blessed to be able to have Dona Blanca, some of her family,
Don Eulogio+ Dona Benilda with their grandchildren, as well as a
couple of kids from El Duruy come up the mountain.

Now, on to the pictures!

ForBlog1 ForBlog5
Praise Yah that the rain stopped enough to bring these people up.
It had been raining off and on all week but thankfully it has stopped
enough to bring the horses down, especially for Dona Blanca.
The road we have going up to the mountain is very bad, and when it rains it is undriveable.
But thankfully they were willing to walk and ride up the mountain.

ForBlog4ForBlog9
Isaiah 2:3
And many peoples shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YHVH,
to the House of the Elohim of Yaʽaqob, and let Him teach us His ways, and let us walk in His paths,
for out of Tsiyon comes forth the Torah, and the Word of YHVH from Yerushalayim.”

When we read this verse, the 1st thing that we think of is the physical mountain in Yisra’el.
But it also has a Spiritual connection as well. And it is really cool to read that verse and think,
“Wow! These people are from the nations, and they are coming
up the mountain to learn YHVH’s Word”. YHVH has blessed us so much,
physically and spiritually, and it couldn’t be possible without you. May YHVH bless you all!

ForBlog8ForBlog2
Psalms 133:1
“See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity.”

We do not know how long we have to make a difference in someone’s life here in Costa Rica,
so we want to be able to share YHVH with as many people as possible
. Many of you have blessed us with your gifts and we thank you so much!
There is a lot of need here, and we don’t even know about the other villages
that we have recently been invited to. There are a lot of people with physical
and spiritual needs here. That is why your gifts are so important, not for us,
but for others, as well as for your own blessing, as Shaul(Paul) said to the Philippians:

Philippians 4:17,19
Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that is multiplying to your account.
19 And my Elohim shall fill all your need according to His riches in esteem by Messiah Yahshua.

HalleluYAH!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ForBlog11 ForBlog14
Psalms 127:3
Look, children are an inheritance from YHVH, The fruit of the womb is the reward.

Children are very important to YHVH. In fact, the very 1st command that
YHVH gave to Adam and Eve was to be fruitful and multiply,
so it must be very important. Yahshua cared about children as well:

Matthew 19:13-14
Then young children were brought to Him to lay His hands on them
and pray, and the taught ones rebuked them.
14 But Yahshua said, “Allow the young children and do not stop them
from coming to Me, for of such is the reign of the heavens.”

ForBlog12 ForBlog15
YHVH has supplied all our needs here, and we have lacked nothing,
which allows us to be able to give even more to others. One of the best ways
to be able to share with others is food. Food is something that we have in abundance,
and it is something that we are able to give out in abundance. Hospitality is something
that the Jewish people, particularly the Bedouins, are very good at.
They do many things that we can and should learn from that can help us serve others better.

Praise Yah!

ForBlog10
May YHVH bless each one of these men, women, and children and show them the REAL
truth of His Word. We have shared the Word with many of them but because
of the influence of the ‘church’  it is much harder for them to accept what we
say since it is so different from what their churches teach. Pray that their eyes will be able to see,
ears will be able to hear, and their hearts will be able to understand the
Word of Yah and come back to Him. Pray that YHVH can continue using us for His Glory!

Until next time…

Shalom!

Yom Teruah 2012… The Bridegroom is Coming!

Chag Sameah Teruah-Happy Feast of Trumpets
El Duruy, Valle de la Estrella, Costa Rica
Lost House of Yisra'el

Leviticus 23:2,24
“Speak to the children of Yisraʼel, and say to them, ‘The appointed times of YHVH,
which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these:
24 “Speak to the children of Yisraʼel, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month,
you have a rest, a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering.

Our family thought we were going to be alone for these feasts.
Then we told one family about the feasts and then sent a text message to some other people.
We prayed that Abba YHVH would use us and bring who He wanted to be with us.
It has been an amazing experience to see Him at work. We started receiving texts saying that
they were coming and that their neighbor wanted to come as well. HalleluYAH!

  Matthew 18:33
‘Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant,
as I also had compassion on you?ʼ

We had to drive them up and down the mountain and across the river.
It took 4 trips in the day and 3 trips at night to move them but it was worth it.

Psalms 72:3 "
Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, by righteousness."

Let the children come to me....
Our hope is that the next generation come to know, love and serve Yahshua HaMashiach.
These are the last generation. Help us become a testimony to them. I asked one of them,
"Do you know a man of God?", and he answered " you". I lost words and felt disappointed
and humbled that he could not see Elohim in any other man.
At the same time I felt responsible for the Testimony I carry.

yea, they shall take hold of the edge of the garment of a man, a Yehuḏite, saying,
“Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you.”
Hebrews 4:12
"For the Word of Elohim is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword,
cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow,
and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."

Psalms 98:6
"With trumpets and the sound of a horn;
Raise a shout before YHVH, the Sovereign."

HalleluYAH!!!

Jeremiah 16:19
"O YHVH, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of distress the gentiles
shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited only falsehood,
futility, and there is no value in them.”

We have heard from those that came that they will return to be with us for Sukkot
and will bring others with them. Praise YAH for Ushpizin. Visitors for Sukkot are a blessing.
We are preparing food and teachings and will need transportation to bring people up.
It must be a 4x4 vehicle and we have contacted someone that will charge us a fee.
Pray for provision for that!

If you feel led to send a gift offering to cover the expenses to celebrate the feasts
in Costa Rica for the people of Valle de la Estrella and El Duruy please do so in the donation link.
Praise Abba El Shaddai and Yirei that provided for this feast and allowed
our family to reach this season of Moedim (Appointed times)

Philippians 4:17, 19-20
"Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that is multiplying to your account.
And my Elohim shall fill all your need according to His riches in esteem by Messiah Yahshua.
And to our Elohim and Father be esteem forever and ever. Amen."

Baruch Mishpacha/ We have visitors!

Shalom brothers and sisters in Messiah! I pray that you will all have a
blessed Shabbat and that YHVH will bless your Mishpacha(Family) as well.
.....................................................................................................................................

Now, on to the pictures!

 Psalms 133:1
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is always good to have family, spiritually or physically.
And it’s even better when we are all following YHVH and guarding His right-ruling.
We were very blessed last Shabbat to have a family come up from town, especially a
family like brother Reynaldo and sister Mayra’s, as well as a young man named Luis.
We also have a VERY special visitor from New Jersey, our dear, dear Cousin Jenny.
She has been blessed not just spiritually, but physically in a large way.

DSC01436
Getting ready to start Shabbat.

Exodus 20:8
“Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart.

It is always a blessing to go through
what the bread and the fruit of the vine mean and how Yahshua fulfilled being
the bread of life and the blood of the renewed covenant.

DSC01441
Christian blowing the Shofar to enter in the Shabbat

Psalms 89:15
Blessed are the people Who know the blowing trumpet-call!
They walk, O YHVH, in the light of Your face.

. Shabbat is always a special time, physically and spiritually, resting from work
and learning from Yah’s Torah of everlasting life. HalleluYAH!

DSC01447
My mom teaching Dona Mayra and her girls how to do Hebrew dances.

Dancing to YHVH was and still is very important part of worship.
There were Levites that danced in the Temple, and King David danced when they brought the
Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. Dancing is a large part of rejoicing and praising YHVH,
as David states in Psalms 149:

Psalms 149:1-4
Praise Yah! Sing to YHVH a new song, His praise in an assembly of kind ones.
Let Yisra’el rejoice in their Maker; Let the children of Zion exult in their Sovereign.
Let them praise His Name in a dance; Let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre.
For YHVH takes pleasure in His people; He embellishes the meek ones with deliverance.

DSC01437 My dad teaching our cousin Jenny a bit about the Scriptures.

We should learn from the Scriptures always, but Shabbat is that special time for us
where we read from the Torah and see how it applies to us today, as well as looking
for little jots and tittles that point us to Messiah and how the Torah was literally lived through Him.
Amen! She has been healed by hearing His Torah. Ears that hear!

Romans 10:17
So then belief comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Elohim.

DSC01450
Our view behind our house.

Shabbat also gives us a time to stop and look at YHVH’s beautiful creation.
YHVH created everything in six days, and on the seventh day He rested and blessed all His work.

So when we look at and see YHVH’s blessing all around us, from the sky, grass, and trees to the food, family, and fellowship, let us all praise YHVH in whatever way we can so that He may be glorified!
 ......................................................................................................................................................

YHVH has gratefully allowed our beloved Cousin Jenny to come down from New Jersey.
This is the first time we have had a family member visiting from the States, so it makes it even more special.

 DSC01466
Cousin Jenny’s testimony of life!

My mom and Cousin Jenny. Cousin Jenny was born almost completely deaf.
She, like all children that are deaf, learned how to read lips and do sign language,
and with the partial hearing that she did have was able to learn how to speak well.
She had what you would call an average life like anyone else, until a couple of years ago.

DSC01415
Cousin Jenny and my mom walking down a steep hill.

Three years ago, she had an ear infection. It got so bad that it impaled the rest of her hearing,
making her totally deaf. More than six months later she went into surgery to have an artificial
hearing system put behind her ear. Thankfully it worked, but during her surgery she had a
stroke and another small one several months afterwards as well. This has left the left side of her
body very weak and she couldn’t walk without a cane and a person standing next to her. About 5-6
months ago we started praying about making plans to bring her  here, and finally, August 13th, she came.

Philippians 4:13
I have strength to do all, through Messiah who empowers me.

DSC01490DSC01533
Cousin Jenny taking corn of the cob and learning how to make tortillas.

In just the days she has been here we have seen a HUGE difference.
When she came here she was very tired and couldn’t walk by herself, but now by just being here
she has gone through some amazing changes. She can walk by herself quickly with a cane,
helps a lot around the house, and for the past 3 days has been taking a BUNCH of
corn off the cob for food,  for the chicken’s and for us. She has also been blessed spiritually,
learning about the ancient paths and the forgotten truth of the Scriptures.

Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, O YHVH, so that I am healed. Save me, so that I am saved, for You are my praise.

DSC01509DSC01529

With her here she has been blessed so much, physically and spiritually, and we have been so
blessed by her company. Pray for her continual healing and that when she goes back
to the States that she can be a living testimony, a miracle to the rest of the family of just how big
of a blessing it is to live the way YHVH wants us to live, whether by the foods we eat,
keeping Shabbat, or just walking, breathing, seeing, and living in YHVH’s beauty everyday.

Jeremiah 32:17-19
‘Ah, Master YHVH! See, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is no matter too hard for You,
18  who show kindness to thousands, and repay the crookedness of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them – the Great, the Mighty El, YHVH of hosts is His Name,
19  great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds.

Until next time, from our Mishpacha to yours…

Shalom!
