Fishy Sin

A funny translation blunder:

One of the tico girls was reading a Creation book.
We started talking about it, how the world is only 6,ooo years old
and dinosaurs walking with man and when they began eating meat.
I told her that the "Pescado de hombre(fish of man)" was the reason we began eating meat.
She gave me this strange look, and I was trying to figure out what was wrong.
Then I figured it out and started laughing!
Instead of saying the sin(pecado) of man I said the fish(pescado) of man!! :'D
No wonder we get the strangest looks when speaking sometimes!
Blessings!

Shawl Giveaway

Psalms 66:19-20
Blessed be Elohim, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His kindness from me!    Truly, Elohim has heard me; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.

A couple of years ago I earnestly prayed for a ministry to be able to help our family and others in need as well. Using my talents YHVH led me to begin Mayim Chayim Inspirations.
What you see is the result of much prayer that goes into each shawl that is made.
What you don’t see is the many shawls I’ve been led to make and
give away to those who are in need of a bit of comfort.
Usually a shawl is made thinking it would be nice to give to
so-and-so but YHVH always has His own plans.
After praying about whom to give it to He always places the shawl in the hands of just the right person in need of comfort and prayer.
Two such ladies are as follows……………….

Dona Nasilda

Dona Nasilda you’ve already met through our previous posts.
She has been going through some difficult family situations with a grandson who has cancer.
She is the most inspirational YHVH fearing woman.
We have been led to Bless her in many ways but truly she has
Blessed us with her dedication and wisdom of our Father.
If one who can not even read and write can be so dedicated to the Father, how short we are falling?

I praise the Name of Elohim with a song, But I am poor and in pain; Let Your deliverance, O Elohim, set me up on high.
And I make Him great with thanksgiving.
Psalms 69:29-30
Dona Nasilda and Tammy

It has been a joy for me to see her out front on cooler mornings with her shawl on.
The young girl peaking out in the back is her adorable grandaughter Brenda.

For The humble shall see, they rejoice, You who seek Elohim, and your hearts live.
And this pleases יהוה more than an ox, A bull with horns and hooves.
(This we understand more so from living here in Costa Rica!)
יהוה hears the poor, And He shall not despise His captives.
Let the heavens and earth praise Him, The seas and all that moves in them.
Psalms 69:31-34

Dona Lourdes

For two weeks I had tried to give this shawl to Dona Lourdes.
The Father has His perfect timing though.
When we finally were able to walk down to her house the timing was revealed.
The night before her daughter had wound up in the hospital with severe migrane.
The situation had been going on for awhile and had reached a severe climax.
The family was very concerned and Dona Lourdes was in need of the Father's peace.
Upon giving her the shawl she began to weep. I held her and Jesus and I were able to pray for her peace and for the healing of her daughter.
All things are revealed. I'm thankful, even for the timing of the delivery
of this shawl and for the healing of Dona Lourdes daughter.

Abba I am grateful for being able to use the talents you have
given me to bring your Word and comfort to others.

I also wanted to thank the many familes that have donated yarn and hooks, making it possible to do this ministry. If you would like to be apart of this ministry and donate with funds or yarn please contact me at ourtreasureisinheaven@yahoo.com.
Blessings!

Pictures of the Farm Part 3--- The FOOD!!

Psalms 65:1,9,13
Praise waits for You, O Elohim, in Zion: and to You shall the vow be performed.
9  You visit the earth, and water it: You greatly enrich it with the river of Elohim, which is full of water: You prepare the corn, when You have so provided for it.
13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

YHVH is providing for us every step of the way. He grows what is planted, even if we didn't plant it,
allows us to harvest what is sowed, or even if we didn't sow it, and allows us to
eat from the harvest, even if we didn't harvest it.
HalleluYAH!!

Here are some pictures of the food that grows there.
May you find it reassuring that YHVH can provide all the time.

There is a lot of food growing on the farm and even more will be growing as we get there full-time.
Our goal is to be entirely self-efficient, YHVH willing.

A field of corn. There was a LOT more!

Pretty large corn.

Large bags of corn!
CORNY!!

Very corny!
Which pic is more corny? :'D

Lots of Beans.
The 3 plantateers drinking their golden(OK white) drink(OK actually coconut water)LOL

Green coconuts are better for drinking the water, brown are better for their white inside.

Sugarcane. Very sweet. It was pretty big before(like 8 in.), but I ate most of it. :'D
YHVH is truly providing for everything that we need.
Pray that we get the barn finished, the house done soon, and that we will be able
to provide for others as YHVH provides for us.
  Blessings!

Shalom!

Plain and Simple

She shall seek wool and flax, and with delight she works with her hands.
 Proverbs 31:13

Mia Langford made me this beautiful "Plain" green dress and apron. She does such excellent work.
At first I thought it would be to much for the weather down here but quite the opposite. It is cool and comfy! I wanted it for work on the farm but have had a hard time letting it get the least bit dirty.

The dress is an olive green and the apron is brown. For some reason in this pic it looks gray and purple.

Here is our pretty puppy, Coco!

I'm already thinking about my next "Plain" dress.
I think blue would be pretty.
It's so nice not to have to worry about what you are going to wear and what matches.

Please go to Mia's Etsy store at My Simple Journey.
The headcovering is from Sower's of Hope.

Blessings!
